How to send a manuscript to TEIEE
The manuscript can be submitted to Trends in Ecological and Indoor Environmental Engineering (TEIEE) by one of the authors in the form of .doc or .docx files via the Editorial Office e-mail address: journal_office@teiee.net.
No template is required to prepare the manuscript.

At TEIEE, we strive to make the process of submitting your manuscript as easy as possible. To do this, we suggest following the step-by-step instructions below.

Step One: Getting to know the TEIEE
Please read Aims and scope carefully to see if your manuscript meets the TEIEE. For any questions regarding the manuscript submission and the editorial process (including the status of manuscripts under review) or for technical support on submissions, please write to journal_office@teiee.net.

Step Two: Preparing the Manuscript
No special preparation of the manuscript is required. However, some rules must be followed.

Before you decide to submit a completed manuscript, please review Journal policies and Publication Ethics.

Step three: Review before submitting the manuscript
Please ensure that you are familiar with the journal's requirements regarding plagiarism, authorship, conflicts of interest, and ethical statements. You have also read the information about payment for open access publication.

Plagiarism
TEIEE uses iThenticate to check the text similarity of submitted manuscripts to detect plagiarism. A manuscript will be immediately rejected without the right to resubmission if a similarity index (overall) is found to be greater than 15% and individual source similarity is greater than 3%.

Authorship
TEIEE expects that each listed author has made a significant contribution to the submitted research. This must be declared by the corresponding author by signing the AUTHOR'S CONTRIBUTIONS form. Authors are encouraged to declare recognition of the contributions of individual authors, in order to reduce disputes over authorship and facilitate collaboration. The contribution of each author will be indicated at the end of the manuscript in the Contributions section. The roles of authors in accordance with CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) can be viewed here https://credit.niso.org/.

Conflict of interest
All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work. Examples of potential conflicts of interest include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding. If there are no conflicts of interest, then please state this: “The authors hereby declare that there is no known conflicting interest”.

Ethical statements (Policies on Humans and Animals Right)
All human and animal studies must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee or review board (depending on local arrangements), and a statement to this effect should be included in the methods section, or the reasons why it was not necessary if this is the case. All clinical investigations must have been conducted according to the principles expressed in the Declaration of Helsinki (http://www.wma.net).

Informed Consent
All authors must read the journal’s policy and the manuscript must be read and double-checked by all the contributing authors before submitting it to the journal. The corresponding author must acknowledge this by signing the AUTHOR'S STATEMENTS form.

Open access fee
TEIEE is an open access journal and does not require subscription fees. This means that authors or their institutions or sponsors are charged a fee (Article Publication Charge, APC) to cover the costs of providing online tools for editors and authors, creating and hosting articles, communicating with abstracting and indexing services, and customer service. This ensures that your article is immediately and forever accessible to everyone.
The benefits of open access include seamless access to full-text manuscripts in real time, which contributes to greater reach and readership.
